This work of art, which symbolises power, self-reflection and the dual nature of our existence, forms the centrepiece of the installation and performance. Doth creates handcrafted masterpieces in her own manufactory and combines the beauty of mirror art with perfect craftsmanship in this work of art. Nicole Doth and Steinway & Sons share a passion for craftsmanship between tradition and innovation as well as a deep appreciation for aesthetics and sound. The ‘poetic-musical installation & performance - MIRROR THRONE - Reflection of Diversity’ offers a unique combination of art, music, poetry, dance and AI that fits perfectly into the innovative and versatile work of the artist. This performance will take the audience on an in-depth, multi-sensory journey and push artistic boundaries.

INTERDISCIPLINARY ART PROJECT_
WORLD PREMIERE
The artist's project combines various art forms in a unique performance. For the first time, the message of the artwork ‘MIRROR THRONE - Reflection of Diversity’ will also be presented in the form of poetry and will celebrate its world premiere at Steinway & Sons on 16 October 2024 in Munich. The analogue art of Nicole Doth's mirror artwork, a musical interpretation, the poetic recitation, the dance performance and the effect of AI create a multi-sensory experience that breaks down the boundaries between disciplines.

The musical performance includes works by Eric Satie, the 100th anniversary of whose death will be commemorated next year. This honours the composer and creates a link between his artistic vision and contemporary art. Both artists are known for their ability to combine traditional and modern elements and create profound, reflective works. Both artists are not afraid to break new ground and boldly place their art in space and time in order to set themselves apart from the known ‘mainstream’, far removed from the criticism and opinions of others.
After the world premiere, the ‘Mirror Throne’ will continue its journey around the world and be presented at international exhibitions and events. This emphasises the universal significance and global relevance of the artwork ‘MIRROR THRONE - Reflection of Diversity’.

Nicole Doth combines profound symbolism and precision craftsmanship in her work. Her works are created in her own manufactory and are represented in numerous galleries and exhibitions worldwide. As a travelling ambassador, the ‘MIRROR THRONE’ reflects stories about what she has experienced, her experiences and insights. It encourages dialogue - about the present, past and future. Doth is breaking new ground with her work. With her artwork, she holds up a self-critical mirror to herself and all of us and invites us to ‘reflect’. The artist seeks dialogue in and with art as well as with people.
